Material and quality of workmanship

• Thermowood – Thermowood is wood subjected to special thermal treatment, which increases its resistance to weather conditions and decay processes. This makes it an ideal material for outdoor use. During thermal modification, the wood loses most of its resin, preventing the release of sap even at high temperatures. It is also more dimensionally stable and does not deform under moisture. The treatment process mainly concerns thick structural elements, such as walls, ceilings, or floors, while smaller details, such as benches, windows, or doors, are not subject to thermal modification.

Choice of heating system:

Harvia Vega is an elegant and easy-to-use device. Its casing, made of stainless steel, gives your sauna a modern look. Ergonomic knobs, controlling temperature and operating time, located at the top of the casing, make this stove easy and straightforward to operate. The Vega stove is easily mounted on a separate mounting plate. Due to its symmetrical design, the stove can be placed in any position. Electric connections are brought in from the side, which facilitates installation. The construction of the Vega stove allows for low installation on the sauna wall. This enables even heat distribution in the sauna and ensures plenty of heat in the lower benches.

Installation Tips:

All saunas should be stored outdoors during installation and immediately after, to provide protection against weather conditions and UV radiation. This is particularly important for barrel saunas, where it may be necessary to adjust the tension straps over time if gaps appear. This problem occurs less frequently in saunas made of thermowood, as additional fasteners can be used with screws.
