Material and Quality of Construction

• Thermowood – Thermowood is wood subjected to a special heat treatment, which increases its resistance to weather conditions and decay processes. This makes it an ideal material for outdoor use. During thermal modification, the wood loses most of its resin content, preventing the release of sap even at high temperatures. It is also dimensionally more stable and does not deform under moisture. The treatment mainly applies to thick structural elements, such as walls, ceilings, or floors, while smaller details, such as benches, windows, or doors, are not thermally modified.

Heating System Selection:

Harvia Vega is an elegant and easy-to-use device. Its casing, made of stainless steel, gives your sauna a modern look. Ergonomic knobs for controlling temperature and working time, located at the top of the casing, make this stove easy and straightforward to operate. The Vega stove is easily mounted on a separate mounting plate. Thanks to its symmetrical design, the stove can be positioned freely. Electrical connections are brought from the side, facilitating installation. The design of the Vega stove allows for low installation on the sauna wall. This ensures even heat distribution in the sauna and provides plenty of heat around the lower benches.

Harvia M3 wood-burning stove, designed for small and medium saunas with a volume of 6-13 m³. With its elegant design and glass doors, it provides a traditional atmosphere and cozy ambiance. Made from high-quality materials, it features a sturdy combustion chamber with a thickness of 5 mm and a stainless steel top grate.

Installation Tips:

All saunas should be stored outdoors during and immediately after installation to protect them from weather elements and UV radiation. This is especially important for barrel saunas, where it may be necessary to adjust the tension bands over time if gaps appear. This issue occurs less frequently in saunas made of thermally modified wood, as additional fastenings can be used with screws.
