Materials and workmanship - selection option

• Scandinavian spruce – Spruce is a light and versatile wood with a light color. Thanks to its softness, it is easy to process and care for. One of its advantages is the ability to dye in a wide range of colors, which allows you to adapt the appearance of the sauna to the garden landscape. Although it is strong and durable, it requires regular maintenance because it is not naturally resistant to moisture and rot. However, with proper care, it can last for many years..

• Thermowood – Thermowood is wood subjected to special heat treatment, which increases its resistance to weather conditions and putrefactive processes. This makes it an ideal material for outdoor use. During thermal modification, the wood loses most of the resin contained in it, which prevents the release of juices even at high temperatures. It is also more dimensionally stable and does not deform when exposed to moisture. The processing process mainly concerns thick structural elements, such as walls, ceiling or floor, while smaller details, e.g. benches, windows or doors, are not subject to thermal modification.

Selection of heating system:

Harvia Vega is an elegant and easy-to-use device. Its casing, made of stainless steel, will give your sauna a modern look. Ergonomic knobs that control temperature and operating time, located at the top of the housing, make this furnace easy and easy to use. The Vega furnace is easily mounted on a separate mounting plate. Thanks to the symmetrical design of the furnace, it can be freely arranged. Electrical connections are connected to the side for easy installation. The construction of the Vega stove allows installation low on the sauna wall. This allows the heat to spread evenly in the sauna and provides a lot of heat within the lower benches.

Note:

All saunas should remain outside during and immediately after installation to ensure adequate protection against weather conditions and UV radiation. This is especially important for barrel saunas, as flush-mounted models may require adjustment of the straps after some time if gaps appear. This phenomenon occurs less frequently in thermolood structures because screws can be left in the walls without the need for additional adjustments.
